We'd love to share a fabulous technique with you!
At the symposium in Sydney which we recently attended, we were shown an exciting technique which has changed the way we are able to address fine lines. Injecting reconstituted filler into the skin in multipe tiny injections is called 'ferning' and we are so excited to bring you, and each of our valued clients, the very latest approach to this method! We love using it for forehead lines and frown lines too, but more specifically, the smile lines that appear naturally with age to the lower face. These are sometimes likened to accordion lines, as they 'stack up' when we smile. These multiple lines may bother you, particularly as they become deeper and permanent as the maturing skin loses its integrity. Ferning works well by returning this integrity to the skin and providing support. The result? More youthful, plumper skin with softened lines. The skin folds become less visible - especially with facial motion - compared with standard ways of injecting.
Another significant benefit of injecting reconstituted filler is that it is particularly cost effective. A little definitely goes a long way using the ferning technique, which allows us to address areas that would once have required multiple syringes of filler. The product may also last significantly longer, injected in this fashion.
